Job Title: Physical Therapist Acute Care Hospital
Location: Lubbock TX
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift 5x8 Hours (08:00 AM 05:00 PM) Weekly Hours: 40 Hours Guaranteed
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Physical Therapist Acute Care Hospital for an exciting Travel or Local job in Lubbock TX.
Responsibilities:
- Perform physical therapy evaluations and patient assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide gait training mobility assistance and therapeutic exercises
- Treat orthopedic and neurologic conditions in acute care settings
- Educate patients and families on home exercise and recovery plans
- Complete accurate documentation in EPIC EMR
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year acute care PT experience required
- First-time travelers accepted
- EPIC experience required
- Graduate of accredited Physical Therapy program
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred
- Active Texas PT License or Compact License required
- BLS certification required
- Experience with post-op orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation
- Skilled in gait training mobility assistance and patient assessments
- Experience with stroke spinal cord injury Parkinsons and orthopedic recovery preferred
