A Day in the Life

The NextGen Academy is a 12-month immersive program designed to launch your career in medical technology. It offers hands-on marketing experience and close collaboration with cross functional teams to support therapies shape product positioning and contribute to the launch of innovative solutions.

The program is designed to develop you into a confident and capable future marketing professional aligned with Medtronics mission to alleviate pain restore health and extend life.

Internship Details

• Start date: June
• Location:Milan
• Duration: 12 months (the contract is split into 6 months plus an additional 6 months)
• Working hours:40 hours per week
• Work model:Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Collaborate with the Product Management team to ensure highquality technical documentation and alignment with product strategies.
• Draft update and improve product-related technical documentation to ensure clarity accuracy and compliance.
• Contribute to supply chain improvement initiatives by supporting product availability and reducing operational inefficiencies.
• Facilitate communication and alignment between the Marketing and Operations teams ensuring smooth information flow.
• Support activities related to product launches maintenance and phaseout.
• Ensure product information is accurate up to date and accessible for internal teams and external partners or customers.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Recently graduated or in the final year of bachelors or masters degree inBiomedical Engineering
• Fluency in English and Italian
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook Word and Excel (data analysis pivot tables vlookup)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Interest in healthcare and technology
• Able to participate full time for a 12-month programme and legally authorized to work in the respective country
