Shift: Day Shift 3x12 Hours
- Monday: 10:30 AM 11:00 PM
- Saturday & Sunday: 07:00 AM 07:30 PM
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Akron Ohio. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality MRI imaging procedures for both inpatient and outpatient populations while ensuring patient safety and exceptional imaging standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Prepare and position patients appropriately for MRI examinations
- Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
- Maintain accurate imaging documentation and patient records
- Collaborate with radiologists physicians and healthcare teams to support patient care
- Ensure compliance with MRI safety standards and departmental procedures
Requirements
- Previous MRI Technologist experience required
- Strong knowledge of MRI imaging procedures and patient safety standards
- Experience working with both inpatient and outpatient populations preferred
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Excellent communication and patient care skills required
Equipment Experience
- Experience with GE 3T Discovery 750W preferred
- Experience with Siemens Sola 1.5T preferred
