This is a senior leadership opportunity to take ownership of IT operations across a complex multi-site environment supporting critical infrastructure services and users across a large distributed organisation.

What Youll Do

Lead and develop a team of 24 across IT Operations & Service (Sys Admins Helpdesk Field)
Ensure stable secure 24/7 operation of infrastructure systems and data centres
Own incident change and service management across the IT landscape
Oversee Microsoft-based environments (AD Exchange SQL SharePoint Hyper-V)
Drive modernisation initiatives including migration toward cloud / open-source environments
Implement and maintain IT security backup disaster recovery and compliance frameworks
Manage vendors licensing and external partners
Act as a key stakeholder for leadership and internal users across multiple sites

What Youll Have

10 years in IT infrastructure / systems with 35 years in a leadership role
Strong experience across Microsoft server stack (AD Exchange SQL SharePoint)
Deep knowledge of virtualisation (Hyper-V) and enterprise infrastructure environments
Experience running IT operations service delivery and ITIL-based processes
Strong incident management and prioritisation skills
Fluent German (C1) AND Danish (C1) OR strong willingness and ability to learn Danish to C1 level
Able to work primarily on-site in Flensburg

Nice to Have

Experience with Linux / open-source environments and cloud migrations
Background in public sector education or non-profit environments
Exposure to tools such as Citrix MDM ITSM platforms monitoring tools
