Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies for assigned commodities materials or services
- Identify evaluate and select suppliers based on cost quality delivery and performance
- Lead RFQs RFPs bid evaluations negotiations and contract discussions
- Manage supplier relationships and monitor performance metrics
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand demand and sourcing needs
- Ensure compliance with purchasing policies procedures and company standards
- Analyze market trends pricing and supply risks to support sourcing decisions
- Drive cost reduction value improvement and supply chain optimization initiatives
- Resolve supplier issues related to quality delivery or commercial terms
- Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities contracts and purchasing data
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Business Engineering or related field preferred
- Fluent in Portuguese and English
- Proven experience in sourcing procurement or buying roles
- Proven experience in development of international suppliers specially in Asia
- Strong negotiation analytical and relationship management skills
- Knowledge of procurement processes contracts and supplier management
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with ERP or procurement systems
Preferred Skills
- Experience with strategic sourcing and category management
- Familiarity with Lean supply chain or cost-saving initiatives
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in manufacturing industrial or technical environments
