We are currently seeking a highly motivated results-oriented life Scientist to join the CMR US Field Applications Scientist team supporting the Cell Analysis product line. The ideal individual will be outgoing and confident with excellent communication/presentation skills to support customer use of instrumentation focused on microscopy live cell analysis metabolic profiling flow cytometry and multimode detection. The successful candidate will work well independently while collaborating closely with Account Managers Product Specialists and cross-functional partners as a part of a dynamic team to support life science research and enable cross-product line opportunities focused in the South sales territory.

Primary responsibilities:
Provide field-based & remote scientific engagement with customers in both pre/post-sales capacities; from focused 1:1 consultation to product demonstrations and applications-focused training & assay optimization
Develop and maintain deep expertise with instrument hardware and software while staying informed on current assays/workflows as well as emerging applications
Convey customers voice and feedback to product management to promote innovation and address evolving market requirements
Qualifications
Masters or PhD in Microbiology Cell Biology Bio-engineering or related field (PhD strongly preferred)
1 years relevant experience in an advanced academic or industrial experience using microplate-based instrumentation
Extensive knowledge of cell-based assays including but not limited to: metabolic assays widefield microscopy confocal microscopy live cell imaging and impedance and flow cytometry as well as a strong foundation in the use of data analysis software programs (such as ImageJ CellProfiler FlowJo or similar). Experience using BioTek Seahorse and xCELLigence products a plus
Excellent written and oral communication skills including comfort with public speaking as well as strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Must be willing to travel 50% domestically

This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. Applications for this job will be accepted until at least May 12 2026 or until the job is no longer posted. It is sales incentive the US this position is eligible for choice of company car or reimbursement for personal vehicle usage.
The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $105075.00 - $175125.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role level and location. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training.
