As a Director of Strategic Marketing in a global role you will be a vital enterprise-wide partner driving Arxadas new product development and launch agenda across all business lines. Working in close collaboration with the Technology & Innovation organization and cross-functional NPD teams you will help translate breakthrough science into compelling market propositions accelerate time-to-market and maximize the commercial impact of Arxadas most important growth initiatives. Essential Job Functions:
- Partner with NPD project teams across all business lines to sharpen project execution expedite time-to-market and increase the size of the prize on priority growth initiatives
- Act as the commercial counterpart to the Technology & Innovation team co-shaping the NPD pipeline from early opportunity framing through launch and ensuring commercial rigor at every stage-gate
- Coach and challenge cross-functional teams on unmet-need definition target segments value propositions pricing and go-to-market strategy removing friction from the stage-gate process
- Own and drive consistent application of Arxadas enterprise commercialization framework including launch readiness sales force enablement pricing playbooks channel activation and customer onboarding
- Define track and improve NPD performance metrics across the portfolio leading post-launch reviews and feeding insights back into the front end of the innovation funnel
- Champion marketing excellence best practicessegmentation portfolio storytelling premium value pricing and cost-in-use quantificationcoaching teams across the organization
- Where required by portfolio priorities take end-to-end ownership of 12 strategic projects leading cross-functional teams from concept through commercial launch and early post-launch performance
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Business Engineering or Chemistry; MBA preferred
- Min. 10 years of experience in specialty chemicals industrials or a related B2B environment in strategic marketing product management or strategy consulting roles
- Demonstrated success in new product introduction with clear examples of products taken from concept through launch and scaled to deliver measurable revenue and margin impact
- Proven experience partnering closely with Technology R&D and Innovation teams contributing credibly to stage-gate decisions
- Strong command of commercial excellence fundamentals including segmentation value proposition development pricing and channel strategy
- Ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives across multiple business lines influencing without direct authority
- Strategic analytical and execution-oriented leader with a passion for growth and sustainability; fluent in English additional languages an advantage
The expected salary range for this role is USD 196000 to USD 239000 but specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience education training licensure certification location and other job-related non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. This role is also eligible to earn a short-term incentive bonus and the following benefits: 401(k) plan medical dental vision life and disability insurance paid time off paid holidays and paid sick leave.
