Job Description & Summary

A career within Delivering Deal Value (DDV) will provide you with the opportunity to help clients achieve maximum value on their deal transactions by solving transformational and other complex challenges. We focus on all operational aspects of a transaction pre- and post-close including pre-deal and functional due diligence enterprise-wide integrations and complex divestitures carve-outs and separations. Our work spans across a wide range of functional and cross-functional areas within diverse sectors and industries.

As a DDV Manager you will join a dynamic team of problem solvers dedicated to helping clients navigate complex business challenges from strategy through execution. You will play a key role in driving value across the full deal lifecycle partnering with other competencies within PwCs Deals line of business in order to serve clients in delivering measurable results in high-stakes transactions.

The Opportunity:

Our teamassistsCorporate Private Equity and Pension Fund clients in their acquisition integration and divestiture activity. This team supports clients in all operational aspects of a deal pre- and post-completion including:

  • Buy- and sell-side functional due diligence (i.e.Operations HR Tech Cyber etc.)

  • Post-acquisition integration planning and execution

  • Carve-out and separation planning and execution including standalone cost analysis

  • Synergyidentification planningtrackingand execution

Your responsibilities as aManagerwill include but are not limited to:

  • Supportfirmleadership with the day-to-day management ofmultiple projects across various value creation mandates andlead junior team membersto successful execution

  • Support the development and execution ofvalue creationintegrationand separation strategies

  • Manage project-level stakeholders across functions to ensure ongoing project alignment effective and efficientdeliveryand client satisfaction

  • Leadfunctional and cross-functional delivery teams indeveloping andexecuting plansmonitoringprogress and achieving dealobjectivesand value creation targets

  • Provide hands-on support to delivery teams in functional due diligence analysis integration and carve-out mandates structural and operational improvements etc.

  • Supportleaders in managing project andrisk identification and contribute to quality control for quantitative and qualitative analysis and overall deliverables

  • Support business development and pursuit activities to drive sales and revenue

  • Support DDV leadership with firm-building activitiesi.e.talent development performance management etc.

  • Coach and develop team members aligned with PwCs values to help them grow and thrive in their roles and to evolve as professionals within the firm

  • As part of the transaction process the DDV team rapidly develops a deep understanding of the target or client businessin order toidentifyand assess key operational issues synergies risks and value-creation opportunities surrounding each transaction

We are looking for a candidate who brings the following experience and capabilities:

  • Afoundation of advisory experiencewith adesire to build trustedadvisorrelationships withclients grounded incompetencein valuecreation and integrationsand separations.

  • Experience providinghands-on leadership tostrategicM&A projects with knowledge of mergers acquisitions and divestitures including pre-deal functional due diligence integration planning separation planning standalone costingsynergyand cost savings analysis and post-close transformation.

  • Proven ability to deliver the full cycle of project management responsibilities and to manage teams through complex engagements including managing multiple engagements simultaneously.

  • Working knowledge of key functional areas such as HR IT Finance Operations and Sales and Marketing.

  • Demonstration of exposure acrossone or more industry sectors including Financial Services Telecom Consumer Products EnergyIndustrialsand Infrastructure.

  • Ability to develop and manage strategic client relationships while consistently delivering the highest quality work across multiple concurrent client projects.

  • Strong capability in developing both quantitative and qualitative analyses of complex data combined with critical thinking skills to support recommendations and decision-making.

  • Experience supporting business development and pursuit activities both internally with client pursuit teams and externally through client-facing meetings and proposal discussions.

  • A drive to embrace AI to bring innovationefficiencyand differentiation to our clients along with a desire to continuously upskill for a digital world with an openness to learning new tools and adapting how you work.

  • A demonstrated commitment to valuing differencesdevelopingand coaching diverse teams and ensuring that diverse perspectives are heard and integrated.

The salary range for this position is $112500-$162500. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada base salary is determined by your skills experience qualifications and work addition to base salary eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements.
