Senior AI Developer

The Opportunity

Were looking for a Senior AI Developer who can shape and ship production AI systemsand bring a team along with them. Youll set the technical direction for the shared components and platform capabilities that underpin our AI-driven products. This isnt a hands-off architecture role. Youll own the hard problems: the orchestration patterns that hold up under real-world load the developer experience that lets your teammates move fast with confidence and the engineering vision that turns ambiguous requirements into concrete systems.

If youve delivered real agentic systems to production you know the gap between a working prototype and something a team can operate reliably. Youve closed that gap before. Youre ready to do it againand help others do it too.

What Youll Do

• Platform Ownership Own the architecture and evolution of the shared components libraries and platform capabilities the whole AI team builds on. You set the bar for reliability testability and developer experiencenot as a reviewer but as the person who ships it.
• Delivery Systems Design and build the CI/CD patterns deployment pipelines observability tooling and developer workflows that make shipping agents to production predictable and repeatable. Fast teams need good rails.
• AI Tooling Leadership Lead the team on AI tooling adoptioncoding assistants agentic development workflows evaluation frameworks. Set the patterns that give teammates real leverage not just access.
• End-to-End Ownership Carry work from requirements shaping and solution design through deployment monitoring and iteration. Youre comfortable owning the full SDLC not just the interesting parts.
• Technical Vision Articulate a clear engineering direction to your team and to stakeholders. Translate ambiguous problems into concrete plans. Build shared understanding across engineering and product so everyones rowing the same way.
• Mentorship & Growth Actively grow the engineers around you. Run technical reviews establish best practices and create an environment where the team can move quicklywithout constantly second-guessing their decisions.

What You Bring

Required Skills & Experience

• 7 years of hands-on software development with deep proficiency in at least one modern backend or full-stack language and breadth across the full SDLC
• Strong AWS experiencefluent with Lambda ECS S3 RDS API Gateway and CloudWatch; able to design production-grade cloud-native architectures that are observable and operationally sound
• Deep grasp of SaaS architecture principlesyou design systems others build on top of and you understand the tradeoffs between speed scalability and maintainability at each layer
• Proven track record building developer platforms and delivery systemsCI/CD pipelines deployment automation testing frameworks and the processes that let teams ship AI features rapidly and safely
• Expert-level understanding of agentic system design: orchestration tool use memory retrieval evaluation and agent-to-agent communicationwith the judgment to make the right architectural calls under real constraints
• Hands-on experience with production agentic toolingorchestration frameworks (LangChain LangGraph CrewAI) LLM APIs (OpenAI Anthropic Bedrock) vector databases (Pinecone Weaviate pgvector) and evaluation/observability platforms (LangSmith PromptLayer)
• Demonstrated experience delivering production client-facing agentic solutions end-to-endyouve shipped agents real users depend on navigated the hard operational problems and iterated from prototype to stable production
• Strong understanding of database design and data persistence fundamentals (relational or document stores)
