BioLegend Inc (a division of Revvity Inc.) develops world-class cutting-edge antibodies and reagents for biomedical research manufactured in our state-of-the-art facility in San Diego. Our mission is to accelerate research and discovery by providing the highest quality products at an outstanding value along with superior customer service and technical support. Our product expertise covers a diverse set of research areas including Immunology Neuroscience Cancer Stem cells and Cell Biology.

BioLegend is looking for an energetic Packaging Technician II to work in our dynamic fast paced warehouse environment. This position will entail picking a high volume of products based on orders processed and preparing them for shipment. This role involves a high degree of repetitive tasks with a focus on quality.

Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Picking vials for orders processed according to the pick ticket for each order triple-checking the order for accuracy preparing for shipping

  • Packaging Tier II products (ASR IVD or GMP products)

  • Ensuring correct products are picked and processed

  • Organizing supplies and Keeping 5S Standards (Sort Set Standardize Shine Sustain)

  • Working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software to search multiple product locations within inventory and then updating the system

  • Occasionally handling blue ice with gloves

  • Adhere to performance standards

  • Safely handle dangerous goods

  • Other projects or responsibilities as may be required.

Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 2 years relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications Education and Experience

  • 6 months of warehouse experience

  • Basic computer experience

  • ERP experience (NAV Exacta SAP or Oracle)

  • Ability to ensure quality while fulfilling a high amount of orders

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Warehouse

While performing the duties of this job the employee regularly works in a warehouse environment with occasional data entry on a computer. Occasional exposure to a laboratory environment.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle feel or operate objects tools or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand talk and hear.

The pay range for this full-time position is an hourly rate of $16.00 - $21.00 USD. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The pay offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity work location and additional factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses equity or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
