Job Summary

Supply Technician Vehicle Control

Location: Eglin AFB Florida

Prime Response Inc. is seeking a qualified Supply Technician with a focus on Vehicle Control to support operations at Eglin Air Force Base. This role is responsible for managing vehicle accountability supporting supply operations and assisting with facility management functions in a mission-driven environment.

Position Overview

The Supply Technician performs a range of technical supply and administrative duties including inventory management property accountability and coordination with government stakeholders. The role also serves as the primary point of contact for vehicle control activities supporting Air Force Research Laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities

Vehicle Control Support

  • Serve as the central point of contact for assigned government vehicles
  • Coordinate with base transportation and maintenance teams
  • Ensure vehicle accountability condition and compliance with applicable guidance
  • Monitor vehicle usage maintenance schedules and inspections
  • Track and maintain required documentation reports and safety briefings
  • Identify and report vehicle issues and coordinate corrective actions
  • Support programs to prevent misuse abuse or damage

Supply and Administrative Support

  • Perform inventory storage cataloging and property management functions
  • Maintain accurate records reports and supply documentation
  • Assist with data tracking reporting and resolution of supply issues
  • Provide general administrative support requiring subject matter knowledge

Facility and Building Coordination

  • Support building management activities for assigned facilities
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and track work orders
  • Serve as a point of contact for facility related issues and follow up
  • Assist with real property accountability and protection

Additional Duties

  • Operate government vehicles or light trucks to transport materials when required
  • Assist with loading unloading and basic vehicle upkeep
  • Support other related duties aligned with contract requirements


Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least two years of experience in supply logistics property accountability or related field
  • Experience using computers for data entry reporting or inventory tracking
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook Word and Excel
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including walking lifting and conducting inventory

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior military experience or experience supporting Air Force operations
  • Background in vehicle control transportation or fleet management

Work Environment

This position requires work in both office and operational settings including warehouses laboratories and outdoor areas. The role may involve standing walking and performing physical inventory activities.
