Job Expectations:

  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently accurately andin a timely mannerand without constant supervision
  • Support individual students in aone-on-onesituation
  • Demonstrate flexibility confidentiality and professionalism
  • Promote a positive learning environment for students whilemaintainingdiscipline when needed
  • Provide behavioral and academic support in both regular and special education classrooms with poise and confidence
  • Maintain andoperatea variety of assistive technology
  • Accept tasks and responsibilities willingly and pleasantly from both teachers and/or case managers
  • Maintainabove average attendance including attendance to necessary in-service and staff trainings/meetings
  • Administer andmonitorregular classroom testing and statewide testing
  • Assistwith direct observation/data collection and assessment for the RTI process
  • Facilitate re-teaching and extra instruction in a wide variety of courses including math English social studies science and foreign language
