Job Description

• Support the development validation and testing of new vacuum tube and microwave products ensuring designs are suitable for component manufacture assembly and repeatable production.

• Develop and maintain a working understanding of microwave and vacuum tube technologies materials and processes to improve technical effectiveness and decision-making within the role.

• Identify justify and implement process and design improvements to enhance product reliability consistency and manufacturability ensuring appropriate technical documentation is produced (e.g. drawings specifications procedures) with due consideration for cost quality and schedule.

• Take full ownership of assigned work packages or actions delivering them on time and to the required technical standard while providing clear regular progress updates to the wider engineering team.

• Communicate and collaborate routinely with key stakeholders including engineering management project teams and manufacturing personnel to ensure alignment on technical priorities risks and progress.
