HVAC Installation Operative

The Role

As an Installation Technician you will be responsible for the installation and commissioning of HVAC systems across retail commercial and pharmaceutical environments. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality installations while ensuring compliance with industry standards safety requirements and customer expectations.

What You Will Do

• Install and commission split and multitype air-conditioning systems
• Carry out installation work including pipework bracketry cabling and associated mechanical and electrical works
• Complete and maintain accurate site surveys commissioning reports and installation records
• Support the quotation process by identifying remedial replacement or upgrade opportunities
• Liaise effectively with clients site contacts and other contractors on-site
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure projects are delivered safely on time and to a high standard
• Take responsibility for the development and progression of apprentices or junior technicians under your supervision

What We Look For

• Relevant City & Guilds qualifications or equivalent certifications
• Proven experience in the full installation of HVAC systems
• Strong experience with DX systems split and VRF/VRV systems air handling units (AHUs) and ventilation plant
• Experience in commissioning HVAC equipment
• Ability to interpret technical documentation including electrical and fluid schematics piping diagrams and psychrometric diagrams
• Strong written and verbal technical communication skills
• A proactive cando attitude with strong problem-solving skills
• Good IT and computer skills
• Full clean Irish driving licence
