As a Security Officer Unarmed Driving Role in West Des Moines IA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading financial institution location as an unarmed driving patrol this role you will monitor and patrol assigned areas support access control activities remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate details to appropriate personnel according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the banking location including lobbies offices entrances parking areas and perimeter locations noting and reporting conditions that could impact daily operations.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing activity verifying credentials when required and reporting concerns in accordance with post instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
