Job Title: Registered Nurse Rehabilitation Unit
Location: Watertown NY
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Night Shifts 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week

Compensation:

• Pay Rate: $2000 $2400/week (based on experience)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Rehabilitation Unit travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment skills and experience caring for post-acute rehabilitation patients with complex recovery and nursing care needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Monitor and document patient progress responses to treatment and outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians therapists and interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams
• Educate patients and families regarding recovery goals rehabilitation plans and discharge needs
• Maintain compliance with nursing standards safety guidelines and facility policies
• Ensure patient safety including safe mobility assistance and lift techniques
• Support rehabilitation goals by promoting patient independence and recovery
• May function as charge nurse when assigned

Patient Population:

• Post-acute rehabilitation patients requiring ongoing therapy and nursing support
• Patients with complex physical cognitive and functional recovery needs

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License required
• BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required
• Minimum 12 years of clinical nursing experience required
• At least one successful travel assignment required
• Inpatient Rehabilitation experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment assessment and prioritization skills required
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment
