Job Description
Navitas Healthcare LLC isseeking an experienced Instrument Technician for a sterile processing department supporting surgical services. The role involves cleaning sterilizing assembling and preparing surgical instruments to ensure safe operating room readiness.
Key Responsibilities
Reprocess and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
Perform decontamination assembly and packaging of instrument trays
Ensure proper tracking and documentation of instruments
Maintain infection control and sterilization standards
Support operating room efficiency through timely instrument turnaround
Follow all hospital safety and sterile processing protocols
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of recent sterile processing experience required
HSPA Certification preferred
Strong knowledge of instrument reprocessing procedures
Ability to work consistent evening shifts
Detail-oriented with strong safety compliance awareness
