Position Title: Travel Physical Therapist Rehabilitation
Location: Hyannis MA 02601

Schedule: Monday Friday
Weekly Hours: 40 hours
Job Summary:
Provide hospital-based rehabilitation services to pediatric and adult patients focusing on restoring mobility improving function and supporting recovery through evidence-based physical therapy interventions.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate new patients and develop individualized treatment plans
- Assess muscle nerve joint and functional abilities
- Implement and modify therapeutic interventions based on progress
- Reassess patients and adjust care plans for optimal outcomes
- Document patient care progress and treatment effectiveness accurately
- Educate patients and families on exercises and home care programs
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and interdisciplinary teams
- Assist with discharge planning and patient transition of care
- Supervise PTAs aides and students as needed
- Support training of new staff when required
- Maintain compliance with safety infection control and hospital policies
- Participate in meetings education and quality improvement activities
- Maintain patient activity and billing documentation
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy required
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required
- BLS certification required
- Strong clinical evaluation and treatment skills
- Ability to work with adult and pediatric patients
- Experience in acute care or rehabilitation preferred
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work scheduled weekends (2 weekends or 4 weekend days per contract)
Preferred:
- Clinical specialty certification
- Experience in clinical leadership or mentorship roles
- Program development experience
