THE OPPORTUNITY
This is an exciting opportunity for an earlycareer professional to begin a career in pharmaceutical marketing within the Oncology team. The role offers handson exposure to brand marketing event execution and crossfunctional collaboration with future opportunities to develop into sales or other commercial functions. Our Marketing teams are passionate about bringing innovative medicines to patients. Through deep customer insights data analytics and digital listening we strive to understand healthcare professionals needs and deliver impactful compliant marketing solutions. As a Marketing Trainee you will contribute to our mission of saving and improving lives while building a strong foundation in healthcare marketing within a highly regulated and fastpaced environment.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
As part of the Oncology Marketing team you will support the execution of marketing initiatives and daytoday operations including but not limited to:
Provide administrative and logistical support for marketing programs and events including preparation of materials for internal approval in line with compliance requirements
Maintain accurate documentation tracking and records for marketing programs and events
Proofread and review vendor deliverables to ensure alignment with approved briefs brand guidelines and expectations
Coordinate with external vendors and agencies to support marketing activities timelines and logistics
Support the commercial team with event management including onsite coordination when required
Assist with inventory management and coordination of delivery arrangements for promotional materials
Support special projects and undertake adhoc assignments as required by the marketing team
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE
To be successful in this role you will have:
Bachelors degree in a sciencerelated discipline (e.g. Pharmacy Life Sciences Biochemistry Biology Chemistry) or a related field
Marketing diploma or certificate is an advantage
One to two years of experience in a multinational company; experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry is preferred
A growth mindset with the agility and willingness to develop across different roles or functions over time
Selfmotivated and able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
Willingness to speak up constructively by sharing ideas raising concerns and asking questions to drive better outcomes
Fast learner who is wellorganized detailoriented and creative
Proficiency in English and Cantonese (Chinese) with strong Microsoft Office skills
