As a Travel Registered Nurse youll contribute to our success in the following ways:
- Maintains patient and staff privacy and confidentiality pursuant to HIPAA Privacy Final Rule.
- Assesses assigned case load of patients and families to identify the physical psychosocial and environmental needs of patients as evidenced by documentation clinical records after hours reports and on-site evaluations.
- Assumes primary responsibility for caseload including assessing planning coordinating implementing and evaluating the plan of treatment.
- Assesses patient needs and obtains data on physical psychological social and spiritual factors that may influence patient/family/caregiver health status and incorporate that data into the plan of care.
- Makes the initial evaluation and re-evaluates the patients nursing needs during each visit. Makes follow up visits according to patient family and facility needs.
What is Required
- 1 year clinical experience
- Current license in state(s) assigned in travel region
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program
- Ability to frequently lift push pull and support up to 50 pounds including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment
- Previous home health experience is preferred but not required.
- Able and willing to travel 100%
You will report to the Area Vice President.
