Impact

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in backend engineering

• Expert in backend languages such as Golang Javascript or Python

• Proven expertise in API development and integrations

• Extensive experience with version control tools such as Git and GitHub

• Strong skills in data storage retrieval and analysis using PostgreSQL and Snowflake

• Proven experience in working with 3rd party vendor integrations

• Experience with messaging frameworks such as Kafka or AWS SNS/SQS

• Experience with observability tools such as DataDog Grafana and Prometheus

• Expert at identifying and optimizing inefficient code database queries and network requests

Work Arrangement

Shipt considers candidates located near a Shipt office or workspace in Birmingham San Francisco or Minneapolis to be hybrid which means that they have the flexibility to work from home (with leader approval) or at a Shipt office in order to facilitate the ability to innovate collaborate and spark team -office expectations will vary by role and leader.
