The Role
The Stock Plan Operations Business Analyst is a hybrid role with a unique aspect of working with client services and operations to support calculation and reporting on client needs that are not fully integrated into our product offering. Unique responsibilities include managing calculations ensuring robust error checking and auditing and communicating with clients and client teams as needed to answer questions or adjust reporting to meet their needs.
Client support work is expected to occupy roughly 20-30% of your time and outside of this time you will operate as a business analyst focused on equity compensation solutions including supporting workflow management tools regulatory reporting needs and client services projects to drive scale and efficiency. You will work in a fast-paced self-directed team environment that is subject to high levels of internal and external audit scrutiny. Associate must be comfortable with multi-tasking expectation setting and high-pressure occurrences.
- Support custom calculations and processing with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Provide constructive feedback for future process improvements
- Fully and clearly document business processes to the granular level of detail required to recreate reporting artifacts on a schedule
- Support configuration changes and testing for the SPS Workflow Management Tool.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 5 years of Accounting/Finance Financial Services and/or Stock Plan Administration experience
- Excellent analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills; ability to interpret data to drive business decisions
- Certified Equity Professional (CEP) level 1 encouraged
- Basic knowledge (3 years) of business analysis techniques preferred. For example: current/future state analysis flow diagramming benchmarking business rules and risk analysis user acceptance testing and product documentation
- You must demonstrate a high level of accuracy/attention to detail.
- You are a good listener and having strong verbal communication skills
- Problem solving skills with the keen ability to assimilate new information draw conclusions and communicate ideas
- Capable of facilitating a workshop or speaking publicly to a broad audience
- Time management skills to ensure that work is completed on time
- Write clear concise well organized user documentation to maintain standards and procedures
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects as well as collaborate within a team
- Positive demeanor and flexible with ability to adapt to the changing needs of the organization
The Team
Stock Plan Services (SPS) provides companies with outstanding administration for their equity compensation programs including stock option restricted stock employee stock purchase stock appreciation and performance plans. The ESPP product area in the Emerging domain supports business and technology work streams focused on delivering a new ESPP experience for all customers. Analysts will maintain relationships across SPS and Emerging to help ensure experiences that are integrated with other benefits.
