AWS Infrastructure Services & Supply Chain (AIS-SC) organization works to deliver leading-edge solutions to source build and maintain our socially responsible data center supply chains. We are a team of highly-motivated engaged and responsive professionals who enable the core sustainable infrastructure of AWS. We are seeking a highly effective candidate to identify create develop and integrate innovative technology to deliver the best operating lowest cost infrastructure in the world.

Key job responsibilities
You will work with ODMs and AWS cross function team to achieve manufacturing operation and supply chain readiness for new product release. You lead NPI DFx and product NUDD (New Unique Difficult Different) review and develop risk mitigation and manufacturing capability enablement plan (including automation infrastructure manufacturing test) with extended team. You are experienced veteran in managing server/network/storage new product development with proven record launching AI/ML server products. You provide manufacturing engineering support to enable critical component supplier as well as rack integrator achieve production readiness for NPI release . You will define rack integration level strategy to achieve the most efficient and cost-effective operation and supply chain setup. You drive BOM and engineering change review with ODM and AWS CMs to ensure manufacturing consistency and material supply continuity across ODM and CMs. You are leader and doer who can roll up sleeves to resolve any NPI and manufacturing impacting issues with minimum guidance and dependency whether it is design process test supplier quality issue. You are strategic but also able to manage tactical tasks. You provide regular program status to your NPI management team up to Sr Executives. You are flexible traveling overseas to provide engineering support for NPI launch in ODM or CM.

A day in the life
You work closely with AWS TPM Lead Engineer HWEng Procurement and ODM on new product development and drive manufacturing operation and critical suppliers readiness for NPI launch. You understand the product design and manufacturing requirements (assembly test automation infrastructure) and lead NPI manufacturing capability and capacity enablement effort which includes system integration strategy DFx and NUDD risk mitigation critical process (such as LC manufacturing) and supplier enablement . You manage NPI and MP readiness review with ODM and transfer NPI knowledge to CM to achieve concurrent launch objective in CM. You drive manufacturing operation synergy in between ODM and CMs.

- Bachelors degree in EE/ME/IE engineering computer engineering or equivalent
- 8 years experience working with engineering on new product development and manage new product introduction in global manufacturing scale.
- 8 years experience managing server ODM and new technology deployment to launch new server/storage/networking products.
- Experience with DFx Server Manufacturing and Test enablement System Integration Strategy Engineering Change Management Quality Management.

- 10 years experience managing server/NW/storage new product introduction programs with ODM or branded CSP company.
- 10 year program or people management experience responsible for new product development.
- Experience launching AI/ML server product with proven record of new technology manufacturing capability enablement (e.g. Liquid Cooling).
- Experience managing ODM and critical component supplier on quality operation readiness for NPI and MP.
- Experience with server manufacturing automation enablement.
