Why this role matters:
The Rentals Coordinator is responsible for responding to rental inquiries in a timely effective and proactive manner and following up with interested renters to book rentals. This position must demonstrate tact and courtesy in dealing with internal and external customers.
This position is typically scheduled 5 days a week for up to 40 hours per week including Saturdays and requires flexibility to work some evenings and Sundays as needed. We are open to candidates with either part-time or full-time availability.
Core Responsibilities:
- Contact and meet up with potential leads from Salesforce database; manage contact database.
- Drive growth by developing and executing a targeted strategy to attract engage and convert new clients/renters.
- Manage and oversee the creation of Rental Agreements Proposals Payments Certificates of Insurance and any other information relevant to the rental.
- Provide in person meetings with customers prior to their rental. This may include venue tours walkthroughs etc.
- Follow sales processes and procedures as defined by the Rentals Team.
- Oversee the Approved vendors list to ensure caterers stay compliant with criteria and meet the needs of renters.
- Work closely with the facilities staff to ensure rental set-up is completed in a timely manner; assist during set-up and clean-up as needed.
- Proactively develop and maintain prospect mailing lists targeting markets/business that can best utilize the space available at the Center.
- Grow and increase the revenue stream for the Bender JCC through outreach to new and existing clients.
- Work with the Rentals Team to update sales and marketing strategies as needed.
- Receive and greet visitors; provide information concerning visitors needs.
- Track and report sales metrics including but not limited to number of prospects leads conversions and room usage.

You should have:
- Ability to work on Saturdays (unless center is closed).
- Flexibility to work evenings select Sundays and some holidays as needed.
- Exceptional Customer Service skills for both external clients and internal staff.
- Strong attention to detail while working in a busy fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies as required.
- Motivation for sales closing business and prospecting.
- Extensive experience with office equipment and Microsoft Office applications with the capacity to learn new software within 60 days of hire. CRM experience required; Salesforce experience preferred.
- Associates degree in hospitality or business administration from an accredited community college or university or relevant experience.

Compensation and Benefits
This is a non-exempt position with a pay rate of $20-22 per hour commensurate with experience. Depending on standard weekly hours benefits may include 403(b) medical dental and vision benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) and a flexible working environment.
