Job Summary
Monday - Friday 1st Shift. Travel throughout Berkshire County is necessary.
Job Summary
Provides supports to persons to live as independently as possible in a chosen safe environment. Provides oversite to the program ensuring all licensing requirements and documentation are completed. Supervises staff and participation in intra- and inter-agency meetings and collaborates with care entities.
Essential Job Functions
- Adheres to all applicable state and federal regulations; ensures compliance with the organizations policies and procedures code of conduct and all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Provides direct supervision to shift coordinators site leaders recovery facilitators and substance abuse counselors.
- Collaborates with Department of Mental Health (DMH) care coordination entities hospitals penal institutions and families.
- Completes all relevant documentation as directed by DMH and agency including screenings upon admission comprehensive assessments and development of treatment plans including risk assessments.
- Facilitates trainings and staff meetings when indicated.
- Oversees any licensing corrective actions and assures all sites meet DMH regulations including medication administration program (MAP) compliance.
- Provides training to Residential Site Supervisors and ensures all staff have required certifications.
Qualifications Experience and Education
- High school diploma. Bachelors degree in related field preferred.
- 5 years residential/community mental health experience (or similar population preferred).
- 2 years supervisory experience in residential programming.
- Basic knowledge of community resources.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills.
