Description
The Lead Medical Materiel Specialist Level III shall include but are not limited providing supervision and overall operational responsibility for medical logistics functions to include advanced medical supply chain activities and biomedical equipment maintenance functions.Including general medical supply activities ordering receiving customer support inventory management warehousing and operation of various materiel handling equipment report development analyzing log functions and biomedical equipment maintenance management functions. Experience shall have taken place in a healthcare or healthcare support setting and have a comprehensive understanding of medical WRM FHP and HSMR program management and ECMM operation execution of Class VIII medical supply sustainment. MMIS assemblage management expertise required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Shall be required to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing collaborate with others train and partner with military members supervision and overall operational responsibility and oversight for one or more ECMM functions at any given site to include advanced medical supply chain activities and biomedical equipment maintenance functions. Lead MMS III shall oversee MMS I MMS II and MMS III as directed and coordinate with the PM and COR regularly.
- Coordinating logistics activities with other base organizations units and government agencies ensuring the overall readiness and availability of assigned ECMM to include general medical materiel management and warehouse activities.
- Conduct monthly reviews and provide monthly reports to the COR of SLEP and DMLSS inventory records to ensure accuracy and program compliance.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure all assets in medical WRM allowance standards are accounted for and managed
- Calculate and document basis of issue for mass casualty first aid bed expansion and force health protection programs
- Lead management of deferred procurement programs
- Ensure all assigned WRM assemblages are inventoried
- Ensure all assigned WRM assemblages are stored appropriately
- Develop inventory schedule
- Develop activation checklists for logistics activities
- Manage shelf life extension program (SLEP) and serve as SLEP monitor if required.
- Maintain WRM SLEP MC-CBRN etc. continuity files IAW policy & regulations.
- Identify and determine proper storage locations (refer hazmat flam etc.)
- Brief medical readiness committee on materiel status of all assigned contingency projects.
- Conduct self-inspections and maintain support agreements.
- Demonstrate and mandate use of PPE
- Package and ship temperature sensitive materiel
- Verify incoming materiel for correctness in qty condition etc.
- Research and resolve shipment discrepancies
- Identify controlled item markings store and secure in appropriate security vaults or cages.
- Perform controlled item inventories
- Adhere to controlled management program policy and guidance
- Update MMIS with QA data of new or incorrect data
- Retrieve Hazardous alerts and recalls inspect storage locations for effected materiel document actions update MMIS and perform dispositions actions.
- Provide customer support to all customers.
- Manage the building of kits & assemblages.
- Utilize Allowance Standard management system (ASMS)
- Identify Controlled Cryptographic Items (CCI)
- Attain certification/license to drive/operate materiel handling equipment (MHE).
- Attain cargo certification to palletize and pack medical items and segregate special handling according to regulations.
- Develop a WRM acquisition plan in advance of funding allocation
- Work independently at single-location sites.
- Manage medical supply chain operations including procurement inventory management storage and distribution of medical materiel.
- Ensure medical logistics operations align with Air Force DoD and federal regulations.
- Manage the acquisition tracking and replenishment of medical supplies for deployed and contingency operations.
- Optimize supply chain processes to enhance efficiency reduce waste and improve response times.
- Maintain accountability and readiness of medical materiel to support mission requirements.
- The position is designed for a Medical Materiel professional with a skillset critical to performing program management and oversight effective communication at all levels integrated collaboration and strategic readiness reporting.
- Serve as the vendor-contracted Air National Guard (ANG) Influenza Program Manager responsible for logistical oversight and management of the influenza vaccination program.
- Communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
- Collaborate in an integrated manner with stakeholders.
- Provide strategic readiness reporting.

Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in business or logistics related field. Advanced degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of Medical Logistics field experience.
- Specialized experience shall include supervision and overall operational responsibility for medical logistics functions to include general medical supply activities ordering receiving customer support inventory management warehousing and operation of various material handling equipment report development analyzing log functions and biomedical equipment maintenance functions.
- Experience shall have taken place in a healthcare or healthcare support setting and have a comprehensive understanding of medical WRM FHP and IMAHR program management and ECMM operation execution of Class VIII medical supply sustainment.
- MMIS assemblage management expertise required.May act as vendor contracted ECMM Lead/Supervisor.
- Prior lead management or supervisory experience required
- Must provide documentation of eligibility to legally work in the United States without an employer sponsored visa.
- Must be able to pass client background screening for security clearance.

Salary
- $75000-$95000 Annually
