Primary Function
The Field Supervisor is a multi-project leader responsible for overseeing the execution and performance of Dashiells field testing commissioning and maintenance operations. This role manages project schedules budgets and revenue targets while ensuring quality safety and client satisfaction across concurrent field service Field Supervisor may also perform hands-on electrical testing and commissioning activities as operationally position will be based inColumbus Ohioand will report to DashiellsVice President of Field Services.
Duties & Responsibilities
Employee may be called upon to perform any orall ofthe following functions:
Supervise and manage the execution of multiple concurrent Field Service projects ensuring adherence to scope schedule budget and quality standards.
Maintain accountability for revenue and profitability on assigned projects; monitor project financials and take corrective action to protect margins.
Plan andallocatefield crew resources equipment and materials across projects tooptimizeproductivity and meet client schedules.
Represent the company and the Field Services department in meetings with clients ensuring professional communication expectation alignment and client satisfaction at a program level.
Provide technical direction training and performance feedback to field staff; support hiring decisions and contribute to workforce development across the Field Services organization.
Enforce corporate policies and procedures on assigned projects including safety quality and operational standards.
Represent the company in a QA/QC role ensuring all testing and commissioning deliverables meet internal standards and client specifications.
Conduct and lead Job Safety Task Analyses (JSTAs) safety briefings and safety stand-down meetings; investigate and report on incidents near-misses and safety observationsin accordance withcompany protocols.
Review job scope and conduct project kickoff meetings to convey scope schedule safety requirements and technical expectations to field crews and subcontractors.
Coordinate with Project Managers Engineering and clients to resolve technical issues manage scope changes andmaintainproject momentum.
Review and approve test reports commissioning documentation and quality deliverables produced by field crews.
Perform electrical testing and commissioning activities as operationallyrequired including protective relay testing power apparatus testing and station auxiliary system testing.
Direct and oversee testing and commissioning of power apparatus including power transformers current transformers potential transformers medium- and high-voltage circuit breakers and switchgear assemblies.
Direct and oversee testing commissioning and maintenance of low-voltage AC/DC station auxiliary systems including station batteries battery chargers inverters DC distribution panels AC distribution systems and voltage regulation controls.
Support proposal and estimating teams with technical input on testing scope crew requirements durations and equipment needs for project pursuits.
Perform special projects and complete other duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Qualifications / Experience
Required
Associates orBachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Electrical Engineering Technology or a related technical field; equivalent field experience may be considered in lieu of a degree (2 years for Associates 4 years for Bachelors).
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in high-voltage electrical testing and commissioning withdemonstratedsupervisory and project management capability.
Comprehensive knowledge of all areas of electrical testing and commissioning sufficient to provide technical direction and quality oversight including protective relay testing power apparatus testing circuit breaker testing cable testing station auxiliary systems and full system commissioning.
Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with accountability for scope schedule budget and revenue performance.
Demonstrated experience in field crew management resource planning and workforce development.
Strong understanding of project financials including revenue recognition cost tracking and margin management.
Advanced ability to read and interpret complex electrical drawings schematics one-line diagrams three-line diagrams wiring diagrams and protection schemes.
Strong technical report review skills with the ability to approve comprehensive commissioning documentation.
Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook).
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to clients project leadership and executive management.
Mathematicalproficiencythrough trigonometry.
Thorough knowledge of safety and health regulations applicable to high-voltage electrical work including NFPA 70E and OSHA standards.
Strong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor with the ability torepresentDashiell in client-facing interactions at a program level.
Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record; willingness to travel extensively including overnight stays.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
TWIC card or ability to obtain one.
Preferred
Experience with Doble Megger Omicron or similar test equipment platforms.
Prior experience in electric utility T&D construction or industrial commissioning environments.
Experience with SCADA systems power linecarrier infrared thermography and phasing and loading verification.
Project management training or certification (e.g. PMP CAPM).
Experience with projectfinancial managementand reporting tools.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 812 hours).
Ability to climbstairs and laddersand access elevated work areas.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Ability to bend kneel crouch and work in confined spaces.
Ability to work near energized electrical equipment.
Ability towear required PPE at all times including hardhat safety glasses steel-toe boots FR clothing gloves and hearing protection.

Ability to travelfrequently including overnight stays.
Environmental Conditions
Regular outdoor work in varying weather conditions including extreme heat cold humidity and wind.
