Position Summary
- Draft and prosecute patent applications in accordance with U.S. and foreign patent laws and regulations.
- Assist with patentability searches and provide opinions on patentability and freedom-to-operate matters.
- Collaborate with inventors engineers and other stakeholders to identify and capture new inventions.
- Provide intellectual property support for commercial contracts.
What We Are Looking For
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Requires bachelors degree in a relevant technical field such as engineering or computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires at least 5 years related experience.
- Prefer experience as a Patent Agent including drafting and prosecuting patent applications.
- Strong understanding of U.S. and foreign patent laws and regulations.
- Proven track record of drafting and prosecuting patent applications across various technology fields.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem- solving skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Docketing and maintenance experience a plus.
What We Offer
Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $103000-$135450annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills education experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Companys applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
