Job Summary
The Opportunity
Polestar is investing in its B2B commercial structure in Portugal and we are looking for a senior Corporate Sales Manager to lead new business acquisition across the country. This is a dedicated hunter role built for someone who builds pipeline from scratch converts corporate and SME prospects into Polestar customers and drives meaningful volume growth in the B2B channel.
You will be the primary driver of corporate sales growth in Portugal. Our Fleet Manager focuses on established LeaseCo and RAC relationships your mandate is everything on the new business side: prospecting developing accounts running tenders and working hand-in-hand with Polestar Spaces to close deals. This model mirrors structures already implemented successfully in other Polestar markets.
The position is based in Lisbon with regular travel across Portugal to visit prospects corporate clients and Polestar Spaces. A hybrid work model applies.
What youll do
Identify target and convert corporate and SME prospects into Polestar customers you own the new business pipeline for Portugal
Develop and manage a structured account pipeline from cold prospecting through to close tracked rigorously in Salesforce
Lead tender and framework agreement submissions for corporate customers in Portugal coordinating with HQ Global Key Accounts where relevant
Analyse rate books vehicle bandings and TCO data to build compelling commercial propositions for B2B customers
Work closely with Polestar Spaces to coordinate corporate opportunities ensure seamless handovers and deliver a consistent customer experience
Build and maintain relationships with corporate decision-makers mobility managers and procurement contacts across target sectors
Organise vehicle demonstrations and pilot programmes for prospects
Maintain accurate records of all accounts activities and pipeline stages in Salesforce
Provide structured market feedback to the Portugal Director on competitive dynamics customer behaviour and new business opportunities
Who you are
You are a senior B2B sales professional with a genuine hunter mentality. You are energised by prospecting and thrive on the challenge of getting a brand onto a company car policy for the first time. You know how to navigate complex organisations build relationships at multiple levels and stay patient through long sales cycles without losing momentum.
You know the Portuguese corporate and fleet market well how decisions get made in medium and large companies which sectors are moving fastest on electrification and what it takes to win. You work autonomously but know when to pull in resources from Spaces colleagues and HQ to close deals you could not close alone.
What you bring
Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B corporate or fleet sales with a demonstrable track record of new business acquisition not just account management
Deep knowledge of the Portuguese corporate and fleet landscape including direct corporate channels and key decision-making dynamics
Proven experience managing a structured sales pipeline and closing complex B2B deals
Experience with tender and framework agreement processes
Proficiency in Salesforce or equivalent CRM you use data to run your pipeline not just to report it
Strong commercial acumen: comfortable with TCO modelling rate book analysis and financial argumentation
Fluent Portuguese is essential; professional-level English is required for internal communication
Experience in premium automotive or electric vehicles is a strong advantage
Bachelors degree in Business Sales or a related field or equivalent professional experience
