Position: Full-Time Live-Out Housekeeper
Schedule: MondayFriday 9am5pm
Salary: $40 per hour depending on experience plus potential health insurance benefits

Family Overview

A private individual residing in a beautifully maintained five-story Upper East Side townhouse is seeking a top-notch experienced Housekeeper to oversee the daily cleanliness and organization of the home. The residence has an elevator and while the principal primarily lives alone she enjoys entertaining and hosting guests from time to time. A houseman is employed three times per week to assist with heavier cleaning tasks.

The principal also spends approximately one month each year in Nantucket and five months in Florida. Travel is not required for this role; however flexibility for occasional travel assistance would be appreciated for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed daily housekeeping and maintain exceptional cleanliness standards throughout the residence
• Care for fine furnishings surfaces linens and household items with discretion and attention to detail
• Laundry care including washing folding steaming ironing and wardrobe organization
• Packing and unpacking for travel
• Maintain organization throughout the home and ensure everything is guest-ready at all times
• Coordinate with the houseman and assist in maintaining overall household operations
• Monitor household supplies and communicate household needs as necessary
• Provide polished proactive support with a professional and service-oriented mindset

Requirements

• Prior long-term experience in private service or luxury homes required
• Excellent references from previous employers
