Job Summary
Job Title: RQ09998 Systems Analyst Senior
Client: Government Services Integration Cluster
Ministry: Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement
Location: 222 Jarvis Street Toronto Ontario
Work Model: 5 Days Onsite
Responsibilities
Provide senior technical expertise project leadership and coordination of activities in the development implementation and maintenance of I&IT solutions.
Provide technical advice to clients and leverage OPS I&IT solutions to meet program/service goals and objectives.
General Skills
Provides specialized expertise in analysis design and architecture of systems solutions
Evaluates recommendations and ensures alignment with project goals
Identifies short and long-term objectives and service delivery requirements
Leads analysis development and documentation of architecture and design
Leads testing integration and implementation of systems solutions
Conducts feasibility studies and cost-effective analysis
Leads technical delivery across SDLC including planning monitoring and reporting
Gathers requirements and translates business needs into technical specifications
Leads teams supporting relational and multidimensional databases
Designs and develops complex applications
Supports implementation and post-implementation activities
Evaluates technology acquisition components
Improves tools standards and development quality
Provides mentorship to junior analysts
Desirable Skills
Knowledge of RAD methodologies
Experience with middleware and gateways
Understanding of Information Management principles
Experience maintaining documentation
Knowledge of dimensions facts and multidimensional structures
Ability to analyze and provide feedback on business requirements
10 years System Analysis and Design in complex environments
Experience with data models ERD and metadata reporting
Experience across full SDLC lifecycle
Experience with Threat Risk Assessment (TRA)
Experience preparing architecture artifacts
10 years Business Analysis (JAD sessions UAT requirements gathering)
System and integration testing experience
Quality assurance experience including test plans and execution
Requirement elicitation techniques (interviews workshops)
Manual testing and test case development
Knowledge of GO-ITS standards and enterprise architecture
AODA Experience (5%)Experience with AODA and WCAG 2.0 standards
Must Have:- 10 years System Analysis and Design
- ERD and data modeling expertise
- Full SDLC experience
- Architecture and TRA experience
