Job Summary
Job Title: QA Automation Engineer
Location: Remote- Charlotte NC currently remote but might need to relocate when clients asks for RTO

Duration: 12 months
Bill Rate: $82/hr.
Job description:
Seeking a candidate with a strong background in test automation development with proficiency in Playwright and TypeScript (Mandatory) and a solid understanding of SQL. This role requires critical thinking and analytical skills to develop innovative automation solutions for our enterprise tech stacks.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript
Write and execute simple to medium SQL queries to validate data and ensure data integrity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand enterprise tech stacks and develop automation solutions.
Design develop and implement automation frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
Analyze and troubleshoot test failures identify root causes and provide solutions.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and testability.
Continuously improve and optimize test automation processes and tools.
NOTE: Candidates should be familiar with using GitHub Copilot in VS Code as well as with Prompt and Context Engineering and working with different AI modes such as plan agent and ask.
Required Qualifications:
5-7 years of experience in test automation development role using Playwright and typescript.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins GitHub Actions or similar.
Candidates need working experience with Codex/Claude tools to enhance existing code framework etc. along with primary skillset (Playwright with Typescript).
Min of 6 months 1 yrs hand on experience on leveraging Codex/Claude tools for enhancing code for existing framework and create new framework for applications.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
What are the top skills required for this role
Playwright with Typescript. Very strong in automation libraries.
Strong in API and SQL.
Prompt Engineering knowledge.
Having working knowledge using Codex and Claude AI tools to enhance code. Project Code :
