An established precision manufacturing company specializing in complex metal components for highly regulated industries is seeking a Process Engineer to support continuous improvement initiatives within its production environment. Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Process Engineer:
#1. Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering Metallurgical Engineering or related engineering field
#2. Minimum 3 years of process engineering experience within a manufacturing environment
#3. Experience in aluminum manufacturing metal casting or metals industry preferred
#4. Strong knowledge of process control process optimization and continuous improvement methodologies
#5. Proficiency with engineering and process simulation tools such as AutoCAD MATLAB or similar software
Responsibilities of the Process Engineer:
- Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement
- Implement process enhancements to improve productivity quality and operational efficiency
- Troubleshoot production and equipment-related issues to minimize downtime and support operations
- Lead process improvement and continuous improvement projects from concept through implementation
- Develop and modify manufacturing processes to meet production goals and customer specifications
- Collect analyze and interpret production data to monitor trends and recommend improvements
- Collaborate with quality teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and quality requirements
- Support the development and implementation of quality assurance procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety standards environmental regulations and company policies
- Assist with training staff on safety protocols and process improvements
