Staff Mobile Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Staff Mobile Engineer to lead the design development and optimization of mobile this role you will provide technical leadership drive architectural decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality user-centric mobile experiences. This is a fully remote position ideal for a senior-level engineer with deep expertise in mobile development and a passion for innovation.

What Youll Do

1. Lead the design and development of scalable high-performance mobile applications (iOS and/or Android)
2. Define and drive mobile architecture best practices and coding standards
3. Collaborate with product managers designers and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences
4. Review code mentor engineers and promote a culture of technical excellence
5. Optimize application performance reliability and responsiveness
6. Integrate mobile applications with APIs backend services and third-party tools
7. Troubleshoot complex issues and implement robust solutions
8. Stay current with emerging mobile technologies frameworks and industry trends
9. Contribute to long-term technical strategy and roadmap planning

What Were Looking For

1. 710 years of experience in mobile software development
2. Strong expertise in Swift (iOS) and/or Kotlin/Java (Android)
3. Experience with cross-platform frameworks (e.g. React Native Flutter) is a plus
4. Deep understanding of mobile architecture patterns (MVC MVVM Clean Architecture)
5. Proficiency in RESTful APIs mobile networking and backend integrations
6. Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
7. Strong problem-solving leadership and mentoring skills
8. Ability to work effectively in a remote collaborative environment

Nice to Have

1. Experience leading mobile engineering teams or large-scale projects
2. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS GCP or Azure)
3. Knowledge of mobile security authentication and data protection practices
