Job Summary
Role Description
The Senior Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction project execution including scheduling site supervision quality control and safety management. This full-time position requires the ability to lead site teams and coordinate efficiently with subcontractors vendors and clients. The Senior Superintendent will ensure projects are completed on time within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in project management construction supervision and overseeing industrial construction projects.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction blueprints specifications and schedules.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations quality standards and building codes.
- Effective leadership team management and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to coordinate with stakeholders and drive project success.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools is essential.
- Ability to work on-site in Birmingham AL consistently throughout the duration of projects.
- A bachelors degree in construction management civil engineering or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- OSHA certification and other industry-relevant certifications are a strong plus.
