Job Title: Branch Manager
Description: The Branch Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of branch operations ensuring excellent customer service achieving financial and sales objectives managing risk and compliance and developing a high-performing team. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers and local stakeholders and drives initiatives to improve operational efficiency and branch profitability.
Responsibilities
- Lead coach and develop branch staff to deliver outstanding customer service and meet sales targets.
- Manage daily branch operations including cash handling teller activities and transaction processing.
- Drive branch sales and cross-selling of products and services to meet or exceed targets.
- Monitor and manage branch performance against budget KPIs and profitability goals.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements internal policies and audit standards.
- Identify assess and mitigate operational credit and compliance risks.
- Recruit onboard evaluate and retain talented staff; conduct performance reviews and create development plans.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers local businesses and community partners.
- Prepare and present regular branch performance reports forecasts and action plans to senior management.
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency reduce losses and enhance the customer experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Finance Accounting or related field or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven experience in branch management retail banking or retail store leadership with a track record of meeting sales and operational goals.
- Strong understanding of financial products P&L management budgeting and forecasting.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements compliance procedures and risk management best practices.
- Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Proficiency with banking systems CRM tools and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
