The Sr. Associate Mechatronics Design Engineering is primarily responsible for designing testing and optimizing mechatronic systems by integrating mechanical electrical and software components. You will analyze data refine control algorithms and support automation and intelligent systems development. Specifics include:
Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot system performance issues
Ensure compliance with technical and regulatory standards including GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Maintain accurate and complete documentation and ensure rigorous quality control
Complete all required training and meet individual job requirements to contribute to overall organizational compliance
Commit to continuous improvement in operations
Experience:
Bachelor degree in Engineering Mechanical Technology or a related field Mechanical Electrical Mechatronics or related field).
MTO (small to medium) experience in theoptical industry is ideal but not essential
5 years experience in designing high precision automated production equipment. Must have hands-on building experience.
Proficient in SolidWorks (must have) and PDM (preferred); GD&T and engineering drawing competency.
Accountability and ownership up to and including post transfer.
Automation Engineersor Industrial Automation Engineers background or Mechatronics backgroundis considered highly beneficial.

Strong communication and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
