This is an exciting new opportunity to join Moorhouse as a Knowledge & Innovation Advisor. We are looking for someone who is passionate about driving innovation and harnessing the potential of artificial intelligence to create meaningful impact.

This role brings together knowledge management document control and data management across the business helping to shape how information is captured governed and shared. Influenced by emerging AI capabilities it offers the chance to modernise key practices and drive smarter ways of working.

The postholder will play a key role in advancing our knowledge management strategy while supporting the growth of our AI capabilities tools and wider innovation agenda.

SOCKET Team

The role will sit within the newly established SOCKET Team (Security Office Compliance Knowledge Environment and Tech) a business enablement function designed to strengthen how Moorhouse works. Bringing together expertise in compliance audit software development and AI tools the team will play a central role in enhancing organisational insight capability and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and improve the Connect Moor intranet and knowledge assets
• Publish news guidance and internal content
• Support document management retention and information governance processes
• Produce monthly reporting and usage metrics using Microsoft Clarity
• Support colleagues with knowledge management and collaboration tools
• Assist with the rollout and adoption of AI-enabled tools such as Copilot and other agents
• Help maintain good data handling and governance practices
• Contribute to continuous improvement of KM processes and user experience
• Monitor Knowledge usage and prepare comprehensive metrics reports
• Maintain good data handling practices including awareness of data protection retention and governance requirements
• Conduct weekly site auditto ensure contentremainsengaging and up to date
• Serve as a Product Owner for an approved KM third party tool (Mural / Mentimeter)
• Support the application of document control practices (taxonomy design version control content lifecycle and optimisation of searchability)
• Actas a champion for Connect Moor and other knowledgetools

Essential Skills and Experience

• 35 years experience in knowledge management information management or a similar coordination role
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 and SharePoint intranet platforms with a proactive approach to adopting emerging SharePoint machine learning capabilities
• Experience in building intelligent hubs with Copilot or AI agents / chatbots and enthusiasm to develop expertise
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong interest in AI tools and digital collaboration technologies
• Understanding of information governance and GDPR principles
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in third party collaboration tools e.g. Mural Menti
• Demonstrate experience in increasing self-service and digital experience

Desirable Skills

• Exposure to Power Automate Power BI or Microsoft Purview
• Understanding of AI governance and/or ISO standards
• Experience using MS Clarity Mural or Mentimeter
• Data management skills including retention information governance and practical application of data strategy

Additional Information

• Candidates must be working towards becoming an expert in Purview
• Attendance in the office is expected two to three days per week
• Responsibilities include serving as a member of the evacuation team acting as Fire Warden and providing First Aid
• Active participation is required in the emergency evacuation team as part of corporate responsibility
