Commercial Electrical Account Manager

Position Summary
Swedberg Electric is seeking a seller/doer professional who can both develop business and help drive project execution. This role combines client development estimating support project coordination and account management for commercial electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships with commercial clients and contractors
• Identify and pursue new project opportunities
• Assist in estimating scope development and proposal preparation
• Support preconstruction planning and project kickoff activities
• Manage customer communication throughout project execution
• Coordinate with project managers field supervisors and operations teams to support successful delivery
• Assist with change orders budgeting scheduling and project follow-up
• Grow repeat business through high-touch account management
• Support both service work and larger project opportunities
• Maintain pipeline activity and contribute to sales growth goals

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial electrical contracting project management estimating or construction sales
• Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and project delivery
• Ability to both develop business and support execution
• Experience reading plans/specifications and participating in estimating is preferred
• Strong client management organizational and communication skills
• Self-starter with both sales and operational mindset
