Position Overview:
You will lead the end-to-end management of one or more Off-Road Vehicle (ORV) product platforms with responsibility for platform strategy variants and lifecycle execution in partnership with product this role you coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering product planning operations sourcing and manufacturing to deliver programs aligned to customer needs cost targets and quality standards. You serve as a primary interface between engineering the business unit and operations while applying Polaris product development and project management processes. This role is a compelling opportunity because you shape high-visibility product platforms with direct impact on product strategy engineering execution and market outcomes at scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead overall program planning execution and lifecycle management for assigned ORV platforms ensuring alignment to the Long-Range Product Plan (LRPP).
- Coordinate global cross-functional teams to deliver product design development testing validation cost quality and timing objectives.
- Establish platform-level cost tooling and part targets track performance and report progress throughout program execution.
- Champion the Polaris product development process and project management best practices to ensure consistent and disciplined execution.
- Develop and maintain platform strategies aligned with division-level product manufacturing and sourcing strategies.
- Manage program risks planned changes corrective actions and cost-enhancement opportunities across the platform lifecycle.
- Track technology industrial design and competitive trends to inform future product opportunities and portfolio decisions.
- Interface with service warranty and field teams to resolve product issues and support in-field performance.
- Participate in and approve major design reviews gates and program milestones.
- Support customer engagement activities including voice-of-the-customer development product launches and external presentations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in engineering is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in consumer product engineering and/or project or program management.
- Demonstrated experience leading multiple product development program cycles using a structured product development process.
- Broad technical knowledge of product design system interfaces and powertrain fundamentals.
- Strong ability to manage complex projects involving cost schedule quality and cross-functional coordination.
- Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across organizational levels.

The starting pay range for Minnesota is $114000 to $165000 per year. Individual salaries and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education experience knowledge skills and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.
To qualify for this position former employees must be eligible for rehire and current employees must be in good standing.
