Accounts Payable Clerk

Job Summary
The Accounts Payable Clerk processes vendor invoices check requests monthly store and corporation expenditures and any and all operational expenses necessary to run and maintain a company. This individual should effectively exhibit JD Finish Lines core values of Customer People Winning Community and Financial Responsibility in everything they do while performing the following main duties:
Processes invoices/bills for telephones store fixtures and supplies office equipment and office supplies construction; maintenance; cleaning; landscaping and repairs vehicles; parking; fuel and freight Human Resource Marketing IT and the Legal department.
Participates in a weekly check run for all vendors.
Corresponds and interacts with vendors customers executive staff other departments and staff members.
Maintain the AP files.
Files and retrieves files as requested to assist with Audit.
Additional duties and projects are required.
Required Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED equivalent and 1 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or related data entry function preferred. Internal experience as a JD Finish Line employee is strongly preferred.
Required Computer and/or Technical Skills
Should have basic to intermediate knowledge and abilities with Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint or Google Suite equivalents. Peoplesoft experience is helpful.
