About the position
The Associate Professor Marketing Technology and Innovation provides leadership to advance interdisciplinary research and teaching in AI-driven marketing and digital innovation. This position fosters collaboration across disciplines to strengthen the curriculum ensuring it remains contemporary and relevant to industry trends. The role also supports scholarship that addresses the fast-changing landscape of marketing through AI data platforms and new technologies with a focus on ethical and responsible use of AI.
The Professor Marketing Technology and Innovation is responsible for advancing La Trobe Business Schools strategic direction in marketing with a focus on artificial intelligence digital innovation and analytics. This position drives curriculum development high-impact research and industry engagement while fostering interdisciplinary collaboration to position the School as a leader in future-focused industry-relevant education. The Professor is nationally and internationally recognized for contributions to AI-enabled marketing and customer analytics and is instrumental in preparing graduates for success in evolving technology-driven environments.
Skills and Experience
The Associate Professor Marketing Technology and Innovation must hold a PhD in Marketing or a related discipline demonstrate effective academic leadership and expertise in marketing digital innovation and AI-driven practices. The position requires a strong research record cross-disciplinary collaboration curriculum innovation digital learning proficiency ability to build partnerships and secure funding postgraduate supervision mentoring experience and excellent communication skills for collaboration across academic and professional groups.
The Professor Marketing Technology and Innovation must have a PhD or equivalent in Marketing or a related field demonstrate effective senior academic leadership recognized expertise in marketing digital innovation and AI and a strong record of cross-disciplinary collaboration. Essential experience includes a distinguished research profile with national or international recognition leadership in teaching and curriculum innovation mentoring experience and excellent communication skills for collaboration across academic and professional groups.
