Job Duties Outlined:

• Perform descriptive and model-based analyses to support health service utilization and outcomes assessment(s).

• Generate clear publication-quality visualizations and tables to communicate analytic findings to a wide audience including policy audiences and community stakeholders.

• Identify analytic needs of research questions; design and execute analyses that provide meaningful and actionable answers.

• Clean organize and link multiple large datasets and ensure reproducibility and data integrity.

• Assist with interpretation of results and dissemination of findings through preparation of reports journal articles presentations and other scholarly outputs. Specifically contributions towards analytic design and support.

• Assist with IRB and other regulatory requirements (e.g. data use agreements)

Required Qualifications:

Work Experience:

• Six (6) years of experience working with large secondary datasets (E.g. administrative claims data (Medicare Medicaid) national survey data). Education may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

• Experience and proficiency with one or more statistical software packages (SAS R Python STATA) including data visualization.

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: Masters degree in biostatistics or statistics data science epidemiology sociology economics health services research public or population health or a related field.

Work Experience:

• Applied experience with or substantive knowledge of the U.S. health care system and U.S. health policy landscape including baseline understanding of state and federal health insurance programs inclusive of Medicare Medicaid and the Childrens Health Insurance Program (CHIP).

• Evidence of scholarship in rural health service delivery rural health health services research health policy.
