TF Royal Hotel & Theatre in Castlebar County Mayo Ireland is a vibrant entertainment and hospitality destination. Originally opened in the 1950s it has evolved into the largest indoor venue in the West of Ireland hosting a wide range of events including live music comedy theatre and cultural performances. The venue features a 4000-capacity theatre the stylish Green Room Bar & Restaurant the cozy Yew Tree Café and a boutique hotel with various room types. Recognized as a cultural hub in the region it offers a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
Position Summary
The Graphic Designer/Website Developer will be responsible for creating engaging visual content that promotes live shows and events. This role combines creativity and technical expertise focusing on the design of promotional graphics website updates social media assets and email campaigns. Working closely with the marketing team the designer will ensure brand consistency compelling storytelling and timely delivery across all digital platforms.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design promotional graphics for upcoming shows events and campaigns
- Create and update website visuals banners and event listings
- Develop social media content aligned with brand identity
- Support email marketing (eDMs) with strong visual layouts
- Collaborate with the marketing team to deliver high-quality timely content
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in graphic design (agency or in-house)
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator and InDesign)
- Proficiency in WordPress
- Strong understanding of digital design and social media formats
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Experience in entertainment events or hospitality is an advantage
- Bachelors degree preferred; candidates with strong relevant experience but no degree may be considered
- Creative thinker with strong visual storytelling skills ensuring brand consistency and energy across all platforms
- Portfolio submission is required to demonstrate design capabilities
- Flexibility to work from 9:00 am 6:00 pm Greenwich Mean Time Monday to Friday
Work arrangement:fully remote but may be required to report onsite if necessary
