Location: Scottsbluff NE 69361
Job Type: Contract 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift 40 Hours/Week
EMR: Cerner
About the Role:
Seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide outpatient therapy services focused on improving patient independence and functional ability.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide outpatient occupational therapy services
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Educate patients and families on therapy goals and home care
Maintain accurate documentation in Cerner EMR
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
Ensure compliance with safety and facility standards
Support discharge planning and follow-up care
Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment
Requirements & Preferred Skills:
Active Occupational Therapist license in Nebraska required
BLS certification (AHA) required
Less than 1 year of experience accepted
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Basic knowledge of outpatient rehabilitation practices
Cerner EMR experience preferred
Strong documentation and organizational skills
