As a leader in the prestige beauty space Dermstore curates a high-performance selection of over 400 brands ranging from medical-grade formulas to the latest in biotech-driven skincare.

The Associate Planner supports inventory forecasting and stock management across the Cosmetics and Fragrance categories. This role helps ensure healthy stock levels and strong collaboration with both internal partners and external suppliers. The Associate Planner plays a key role in maintaining product availability meeting sales targets and optimizing inventory positions across multiple warehouses.

As Associate Planner youll:

• Forecast sales and demand at the SKU brand and category levels using historical data market trends and upcoming business plans.
• Manage weekly replenishment cycles to maintain optimal weeks of supply (WOS) and minimize out-of-stock occurrences.
• Strategically manage stock distribution across multiple warehouses to ensure balanced coverage and reduce the cost and environmental impact of split shipments.
• Analyze category performance to provide data-driven recommendations for seasonal range planning and budgeting.
• Proactively monitor aged and slow-moving inventory; propose and execute stock swaps Returns to Vendor (RTVs) or promotional strategies to clear overstock.
• Partner closely with Buying Supply Chain and Marketing teams to ensure stock accuracy resolve logistical bottlenecks and support seasonal launches.
• Balance high-availability targets with Month-End (EOM) stock objectives to optimize working capital.

Key Measurements:

• Maintain 95% category availability
• Sustain correct weeks of supply by category
• Achieve high forecast accuracy at SKU and brand levels.
• Maintain appropriate sales-to-stock ratios.
• Reduce overstocks to support EOM stock targets.
• Contribute to achieving healthy outbound split across US warehouses.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Bachelors degree required.
• 1-3 years of experience in planning forecasting or a related analytical role (retail a plus).
• Strong ability to interpret large datasets and apply logical problem-solving to complex inventory challenges.
• Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables complex formulas); knowledge of SQL or Power BI is a plus.
• Clear collaborative communicator who thrives in a fast-paced high-growth environment.
• A proactive self-starter with a solution-oriented mindset and a genuine passion for the beauty and skincare industry.
