Accounting Intern Mentor OH

Job Summary: Climax Metals (a division of RBC Bearings) is currently looking for an Accounting Intern. The ideal candidate would be detail-orientated organized and eager to support the accounting team with financial and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records while ensuring accuracy.
• Prepare financial reports as needed for business.
• Enter financial transaction data into the database/ERP system.
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts in a timely manner.
• Provide clerical and administrative support to the accounting department including preparing and maintaining accounting documents and records.
• Process invoices organize office mail and assist with customer and vendor accounts.
• Research and resolve accounting or documentation discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with company standards procedures and applicable laws.

Job Requirements:

• Associate of Business degree in Accounting/Finance but not required.
• Experience: Proven accounting experience preferably as an Accounts Receivable or Accounts Payable Clerk.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures.
• Technical Skills: Competency in MS Office databases and accounting software.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Communication: Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
