Job Summary
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
READS AND REVIEWS JOB CARD AND PROCESSES ACCORDING TO DEPARTMENT
REVIEWS THE WEEKLY WORK IN PROCESS WITH THE SUPERVISOR TO MAKE SURE THE RIGHT ORDERS GO THROUGH THE ASSEMBLY LINE AT THE RIGHT TIME.
MATCHES WORK FOR OPERATORS BASED ON ORDER NUMBER AND CUT NUMBER.
FILLS OUT FINDINGS AND TRIM RESTOCK FORM TO REPLACE ANY THREAD AND TRIM THAT IS NEEDED FOR THE CUTS GOING THROUGH THE LINE.
SIGNS UP MACHINES THAT NEED REPAIRED IF SUPERVISOR IS NOT AVAILABLE.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
COMMUNICATION WITH ALL SEWING OPERATORS.
ABILITY TO LOOK AHEAD AND PLAN FOR POSSIBLE SLOWDOWNS OR SEWING OPERATORS OUT OF WORK.
THE SERVICE PERSON ALSO HANDLES RECUTS AND ENTERS THE INFORMATION FROM THE JOB CARD IN TO THE QUALITY COLLECTION PLAN IN ORACLE.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or GED
Must be able to read and comprehend English language instructions
Positive attitude and demonstrated ability to work well with a team
Good attendance record
Ability to navigate a computer
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Standing sitting walking bending as needed.
Hearing and vision required to be within normal ranges with or without correction.
Using proper lifting technique may be required to lift objects up to 40 lbs.
May be required to operate traditional office equipment including computers copiers fax machines and telephones if needed.
MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
Displays ambitious positive attitude
Interpersonal skills to build relationships with site leadership and team mates. May be required to occasionally interact with customers.
Ability to manage multiple priorities meet deadlines work proactively and independently in a fast-changing environment
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
RELATIONSHIPS &CONTACTS:
Communicates with site leadership immediate supervisor and team mates. May occasionally encounter customers and suppliers and corporate staff.
