Account Manager

Responsibilities:

• Act as main point of contact for key customers becoming the go-to person for service and communication;
• Provide regular shipping updates and maintain performance scorecard for each client;
• Identify new bid opportunities to maximize potential of current accounts;
• Schedule quarterly business reviews with customers and operations team relative to account performance;
• Work in collaboration with sales team to service and grow the account;
• Become a subject matter expert on shipping logistics and transportation industry;
• Provide world-class customer service to our clients.

Requirements:

• 3-7 years experience as an Account Manager Sales Executive or relevant role;
  
• A sales/growth mindset associated with organic growth from client base;
• Experience with customer TMS systems customer standard scorecard KPI requirements quoting ability some coverage skills and award management.
• Experience with Salesforce
• Experience with Microsoft Suite
• Proven ability to develop and grow existing accounts;
• Organized operator with customer facing sales skills excellent oral and written communicator excellent in a high stress/fast paced environment and great person to person engagement skills.
• Strong work ethic and burning desire to win that is showcased through outworking the competition;
