• $30.34/hr $41.50/hr (Based on experience)

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to join a 400 bed acute care facility and Level I Adult & Pediatric Trauma Center in Miami-Dade County. This role provides comprehensive patient-centered respiratory care for critically ill patients across trauma burn surgical womens & childrens services and intensive care units.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and document comprehensive respiratory assessments
• Conduct diagnostic testing and evaluate treatment effectiveness
• Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen therapy aerosol medications and chest physiotherapy
• Assist with airway management including artificial airway placement and maintenance
• Initiate monitor and manage mechanical ventilation support
• Observe patient responses and intervene as clinically indicated
• Assist with safe transport of ventilator-dependent patients
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and support airway management during resuscitation efforts
• Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) credential
• Associate Degree or completion of an accredited vocational respiratory care program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
